What Makes 2 Cute Havanese Different...
At 2 Cute Havanese I raise AKC registered & health tested purebred Havanese. Our pairings are purposeful and planned with consideration of many things like pedigree, genetic diversity testing as well as size, color, personality, and much more. We are focused on helping you find the right puppy for your family, because finding the right fit for your home is one of my biggest priorities. I do this by knowing the personalities of my puppies and getting to know you and your needs, giving information & advice as needed to better assist you in your decision.
Since 2011 I have been successfully helping find the one puppy, or two that are the right fit and have enjoyed getting to be part of your havanese journey.
My puppies arrive amidst so much anticipation and excitement and for the eight weeks we have with them we spent time holding, loving, and nourishing them every day and truly cherish the time we have raising our puppies and preparing them for their new "furever" homes. Our goal is to send home the puppy we want: a happy, healthy, and well rounded puppy who will fit well into your home. Havanese are excellent companions who are loyal, loving, and playful. They are wonderful pets for people of all ages and are considered one of the few hypoallergenic breeds, which means they do not shed and are a great choice for people with allergies. However, no animal is one-hundred percent hypoallergenic, so please notify us if you have any allergies. I can schedule a Meet & Greet' prior to you choosing your puppy for you to meet the parents and to give me a chance to get to know you and vice versa. The Evolution of 2 Cute Havanese
2 Cute Havanese was founded on March 13, 2011 and was started by Lea Robinson & Lola Weston who after falling in love with the havanese breed decided to adventure into the breeding world with the idea that everyone should have the love and joy that this breed brings into your life. As all things do this began the evolution of 2 Cute Havanese which to their surprise grew into 6 separate households with Lola doing sales, accounting and spreadsheets, Lea doing contracts, research and the blog and Cassie (Lea's Daughter) doing social media. Shortly after a close friend of Lola's joined the group and not long after that one of Lola's daughters joined the group a few years went by and Lola's other daughter joined the group and that is how we established the 6 households that formed 2 Cute Havanese from 2012 to 2023.
Lea and Lola in 2017 decided to adventure into AKC Confirmation Shows, in 2020 Lola decided to work on getting Breeder of Merit and in 2022 with 3 champions and 1 grand champion from her own breeding stock, achieved that goal. Lea & Lola have also become members of Greater Collin Kennel Club in 2021 and Lola remains active in AKC confirmation events.
In the fall of 2022 Lea & Cassie decide that it was time to make a move out of the city, so Lola found them the right house, listed their house in Richardson and they made the move in mid March. One of Lola's daughters also decided it was time to move and by mid April of 2023 had closed and move out of Garland. So around that time Lola decided she might just have a look around to see what might be available and even though it was not in the plans found one she just could not pass up, so she listed the house in Richardson sold it in one week, packed up and moved to Campbell, TX.
Unfortunately due to the distance between them now it had become a challenge to continue with the multiple households so Lea became Lakeside Havanese and after all these years and adventures has retired from breeding, Cassie decided to hang up her breeding program and is working on her college degree, Lola's first daughter has had 4 children and is happily focused on her young family, her other daughter is working and just didn't have the time to dedicate to breeding anymore and Lola's friend has decided traveling is her new passion in life so has also gotten out of the 2 Cute Havanese breeding program.
Lola's new house was carpet in all rooms, kitchen bathrooms, laundry room, ect... so day one was tearing out all the carpet and Lola started laying luxury laminate floors, and by she I do not mean she hired someone I mean Lola by herself with a little help on the weekends from her husband has cut and laid flooring throughout a 2400 square foot house. she is now on a 30 acre future small farmette (so far she has acquired 3 goats, some chickens , a couple ducks and a turkey)
Then there was one....Lola also has taken on contracts & social media as well as selling some of the other houses breeding stock and remaining puppies so it has been a very busy couple of years so please give her some grace to catch up on some things. Lola is still trying to decide on the research and blog aspects and will let you know when she decides.
We are all so very grateful and blessed by the friends and family we have acquired in this journey and are excited and supportive of Lola and the future endeavors at 2 Cute Havanese.
